Snowborough Faire and a half pint of Crown Royal

Tuesday, April 10, 2007, 03:39 PM CST [General]

We had a fabulous time at Scarborough with the snow.  My husband and I love to dress but it's ususally too hot.  This time, it was perfect.  We spent the weekend there.  Tony and I had fun with just the two of us on Saturday.....Iris and Rose were hilarious as ususal.

Sunday, my son, Orion, joined us with his grandparents.  He sure did make the trip even more fun.  He's 17 months old and quite the ham.  He was chasing girls and making quite an impression on The Rogues.  He joined them at one of their shows.  My son loves to dance and proved to me that he isn't shy in front of an audience.  I had a really nice lady come and give me her card with her email address.  She was kind enough to send pics of Rion with The Rogues.  I have more that we haven't downloaded yet.

Here is one of Rion and Nelson doing a bit about Elvis that was hilarious.

A weekend at Snowborough Faire and a half pint of

What a wonderful weekend in the snow at Scarborough.  After years of attending, it was the first time I wasn't hot and sweaty.  I actually enjoyed the snow and cuddling with my own personal knight in shining armor.

My son, Orion, joined us Sunday for the festivities and it turned into a wonderful day.  We went to The Rogues' show and my son ended up in the show.  He's 17 months old and loves to dance.  He apperently isn't shy either.  I've been listening to the Rogues for years now.  I had bought a CD and listened to them while I was pregnant with Rion.

The guys in the band were fabulous with him.  They let him dance and even play the drums.  A really nice lady, Janet, came up afterwards...gave me her card and told me to email her for the pics that she took of my son.  Even hours after the show, we had people coming up to us wanting to take his picture.  His costume made him look like a walking bag of Crown Royal.

Here is Rion with Nelson.  He did a bit about Elvis that was hilarious.
